The "Coral Castle" Investigation
By Michael Jones

My visit to Coral Castle down in Homestead,Florida in 2001 was an interesting experience. I was skeptical and assumed it wouldn't be hard to figure out. I did get odd magnetic readings from many of the stones. The builder was a carver and a heavy experimenter with electro-magnetism. One conclusion was that he built large electromagnets, reversing polarity so that they would repel thereby lifting the stone. Others think it was just an elaborate system of pulleys and chains. Nobody really knows for sure. I have heard theories of the earth's magnetic grid and even assistance from aliens etc. Take a look at my photos and let's see what you come up with.

All photos were taken with an Olympus C3000Z digital camera in HQ mode.
They were reduced in size for this web page. All images should not be used or linked to without permission.

Before you begin your tour of "Coral Castle", I would like to mention that most photographs on this page may be enlarged simply by clicking on the photo of your choice.

Coral Castle was built between 1920-1940 by Edward Leedskalnin who came here from Latvia.
What makes this an "Unexplained" type of story is that ED built this in secrecy by himself with stones that weighed tons.
Ed was short, weighing in at around 100lbs.

The only tools Ed used were made from old car parts yet his creation astounds engineers to this day.
Repair work requires teams of men and heavy equipment.

When Ed was asked how he did it, he would answer that he knew the secrets of the pyramids.
Many times people had tried to sneak up on him and see what his secret was.
Each time Ed seemed to know he was being watched and he would stop working.
Most work was done late at night by the light of his lantern.

Today theories still fly but none really explain how one man could create and move these stones. Some psychics go there because they claim to feel psychic energy.

There is quite a bit of great information on Coral Castle and Ed at their web site.
Rather than duplicate their information I have provided a link below.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
